The senior footballers put back to back wins together, when accounting for Lisburn at the Falls Park. Scores from play were hard to come by early on and it was a long range pointed free from Aaron Slane which opened the scoring. Lisburn responded with two points also from frees and when we were awarded a penalty Aaron Slane found the net. Another Lisburn point from a free was cancelled with another Aaron Slane pointed free. Two Lisburn points levelled the game but James Lindsay hit the net following a Ceavy Slane shot which hit the upright and dropped kindly into his hand to leave him with a handy finish. Another Lisburn pointed free sent us in at the break with a two point advantage 2-2 to 0-6.
An early second half goal put us in command, David Nugent fielded a high ball from a Lisburn kickout, laid it off to Conor Toner who gave a pass to Niall Hughes, took the return and fired past the Lisburn keeper. Lisburn responded with two points before Ceavy Slane restored our five point advantage with two well taken points. A Lisburn point made little impact on our dominance at this stage and points from Padraig McParland (0-2), Colm McKee and Aaron Slane followed by an  Anthony Rowntree goal put us in a commanding position. All credit to Lisburn who could easily have gave up the chase but they dug in and fought their way back into the game with 1-3 but it would be to no avail as we took the win 4-8 to 1-12.
