The U10 & U12 footballers travelled the short journey to take part in the indoor games, held on Monday night at University of Ulster, Jordanstown.
Our U10s faced tough tests against St Paul’s, Aghagallon and St Brigid’s, three of the stronger sides on view. The kids battled hard and were narrowly defeated in each game but as these lads have a couple of more years at this age group, a big well done to all of them.
The U12s were drawn against Sarsfields, Rossa, Carryduff and St. Galls. However, due to St Galls being a last minute entry, all the fixtures weren’t played and time ran out and before the lads got game against them.
In the other games, the youngsters produced some of their best football to date to win all three matches, although they had to work hard work at times. With the calibre of opposition, this was only to be expected.
Again, well done to all concerned and keep up the hard work.
