On Sunday past, our U8 hurlers travelled to Cushendun to play in their first North Antrim hurling blitz.
They got the weather and also the skill and determination, as all these young Davitt gaels showed what they are capable of.
On the day, they lost one game out of seven and at the end of it, all the kids had a smile on their faces; which is the most important part.
Mentors and parents should be praised for their time and support to this team.
A lot of the other teams praised this young bunch and paid credit to our team. The foundations are in place to continue to build for the future.
