The senior hurlers made very hard work in this Division 4 league encounter. We held a 1-5 to 0-1 lead at half time but the second half saw Ballyvarley chip away at the deficit to get within two points, however when required we produced the goods to run out winners by four points.
One area we need to brush up in is our shooting as over the course of the game we shot 25 wides and this could have been costly.
