U10s capture third title of the year

The U-10 footballers captured another trophy, winning the Desy Hill Cup at the St. Teresa’s tournament. In the group stages they comfortably beat St .Teresa’s A, St. Finbarr’s (Dublin) and St.Enda’s to progress to the semi final, along with runners-up St. Enda’s. In the semi-final they came up against St.Teresa’s B but were too good for them and sealed a final place. The other semi final saw St. Enda’s upset the form book to defeat St. John’s for a return match against Davitts. However, Davitts were not to be denied and they played some great passing football to run out winners. Congratulations to coaches and mentors, Kev McParland and Terry Park. This was the team’s third trophy of the year, having previously won the Sarsfields and Davitt Commemerative Cups as well.
