The hurlers completed their Ulster league campaign away to Newry Shamrocks at Pairc Esler on Saturday afternoon. The final score does not highlight how well we actually played in the match and should give us plenty of optimism for our opening Antrim league match against St Endas next Sunday. We worked tirelesly all over the pitch and were unfortunate to concede two scrappy goals in the second half which put the game beyond our reach.
