This weekend sees our U12 and U14 footballers in action in the semi-final stages of their respective championships – the O’Donnell cup and the Father Mullan Cup. First up are the U14s who take on St Galls at Rossa Park on Saturday afternoon with a 3.00pm throw in. We had a comprehensive win over St Brigids in the previous round and team manager Martin Mooney will have his team primed for a what will be closer game with the Milltown lads.
Sunday morning at the Glen Road will see the U12s in action when they take on the combination side of Eire Og/St Agnes with an 11.30am start. As with the U14s the U12s also enjoyed a good win in their previous round against St Galls but they will be expecting a tighter game this weekend.
