Davitts Young Footballers Reach a Hat-trick of Finals

On Tuesday night, Davitts under 14 Footballers overcame a gallant St Gall’s team to achieve a notable treble for the club. The Under 14 team have now joined the Under 12 and Under 16 Football sides by reaching their respective Championship Final  and it will be the most recent semi-final victors who will be first up when they face Rossa in the Fr Mullan final this Saturday at Hannahstown, throw-in 3pm.

The Under 12 team overcame the St Agnes/Eire Og combination team last Sunday and they are due to meet St Teresa’s on Sunday 2nd October, with an 11am throw-in at O’Donnell’s.

As for the Under 16 Footballers, they still await a refix date and venue for the postponed Final against O’Donnell’s as they aim to add the Championship to the League title they wrapped up earlier in the season. The winners of this game will face St Mary’s, Aghagallon in the All-County Final.

So, to all our members, let’s get out and cheer on all our young players as they aim to finish off a very rewarding season with some Championship silverware.
