It wasn’t to be for our U14 footballers who lost to Rossa last Saturday in the final of the Father Mullan Cup at Lamh Dhearg. This was a highly entertaining game with both sets of players a credit to their mentors. The skill levels were high and both teams gave everything in their quest to be champions. Unfortunately for us a Rossa goal in the dying minutes gave us no opportunity to mount a comeback and in a game which could have gone either way we came out on the wrong side.
However, it augers well for the future as we have plenty of talented footballers throughout the team and our performances during the season have proved that we can compete at the top level. Click here for photos of the match.
