Kevin McParland overcame Sean McGurn of Queens in his semi-final encounter of the Mastes B singles competition. He came through in two games and will now take on Noel Roberts of Rossa in the final this Thursday night at 8.30pm in Rossa.
Stephen Brady has also made the final of the Silver Masters B singles after a win over Paul Murray in his semi-final. He will now play the winner of Stevie Roberts and Sean Patterson in the final on 11 December at Gortnamona at 2.00pm.
There was no joy for Anto McGrattan when he went out of the Junior B singles competition, going down in the tie break to Myles McCann of Queens. Peter Carleton now takes on Myles on Monday night at Gortnamona at 8.30pm at the quarter final stage. Anto and Michael Brady also exited the Doubles competition just failing against the Gortnamona pairing of Fitzpatrick and McLean while Peter Carleton teamed up with Gortnamona’s Crothers in the same competition but they too had no joy going down to the Ardoyne duo of Toal and McAuley.
