The Senior footballers continued their winning streak with a home win over Dunloy at Boucher Road last Wednesday. We played some outstanding football in the first half and when we led by 8 at half time, 4-4 to 0-8 the game appeared over.
We piled on the pressure in the second half, continuing our fine play and with ten minutes to go held what appeared to be an unassailable 14 Â point advantage. With time running out and the game seemingly won, we switched off and in frantic finish to the game Dunloy responded with 4-1 to leave us winners by a single point.
As the saying goes a win is a win and another two points moves us into third place in the league, two points behind O’Donnells with a game in hand and four points behind the leaders Glenravel.
