The U18 footballers followed up last weeks Michael Dwyer Cup win over St Malachys with a convincing league win at Boucher Road last night. However unlike last week the first half was a much tighter affair and at half time we held a three point advantage 0-10 to 2-1.
We picked the pace up at the start of the second half and playing some attractive football we started to pick of the scores. As a team we defended well and in defense we had good performances from C Slane, D Wallace, B Teague and N Maginn and we were justly rewarded as we held St Malachys scoreless in the second half.
