ACHL Div 4 – St Teresas 4-19 Davitts 1-9

This was a game which  we had hoped to use as an indicator as to how we were progressing this season but with several cry offs and no shows we were immediately under pressure to get anything from what was always going to be a tough game, even with a full side. There was an element of deflation in the team and this carried onto the pitch. Despite our best efforts St Teresas were too strong on the day. We did battle hard, particularly in the second half and it was pleasing to see young Anthony Rowntree come into the side and have a solid game. Scorers on the day, Stephen McGivern 0-4 which included two 40 yard side line cuts, Davy Gray 1-0, C Mooney, E Gallagher, M Rowntree, P Mc Givern and P Carleton 0-1 each.
