On Sunday 13th October, the Club will offically launch a new publication and DVD marking the centenary anniversary year of 2012. The book, which has been compiled by Eugene Gallagher and Stephen Brady focusses on the last quarter of the club’s centenary years and is a follow-on from the ‘Davitt’s Deeds’ book which was published back in 1987. The DVD box set is a marvellous compilation of the club events which ran so successfully throughout 2012 and will be a great momento for all Davitt gaels. The book and DVD are available to purchase on the day for a combined price of £10.
Michael Davitt GACÂ is marking the joint-launch with a day for all members past and present, along with their families and we look forward to seeing you all at the Clubrooms. Proceedings start at 3pm and there will be refreshments and entertainment to celebrate the occasion.
