Well done to the U12 hurlers who went unbeaten in a blitz held last Saturday at the Meadowbank Arena, Magherafelt, exhibiting some great skill and determination over the course of the day.
After drawing the first game against Moneyglass, the young hurlers went from strength to strength, winning their remaining 4 fixtures against Eoghan Rua (Coleraine), Ardoyne, Brid Og and St Endas (Omagh).
Both parents and children should feel really proud as the team faced good quality opposition and showed superb ability. This is the first time this age group has performed so well in this standard
It will stand the lads in good stead for the coming season.
