ACHL Div 4- Conn Magees 4-22 Davitts 1-3

The senior hurlers travelled to Glenravel on 29 June to play Conn Magees in their final Division 4 game of the season before the league split in two. After a great performance against O’Donnells hopes were high that the team would continue to build in advance of their upcoming championship game by registering another strong performance. However, despite battling well for 60 minutes, Conn Magees proved too strong on the night, winning 4-22 to 1-3. The one positive of the night was our goal, which was a fine piece of individual play. Sean McElhatton won a clearance out of defence, rounded his man and evaded two more defenders and the goalkeeper to finish to the net. However this was as good as it got on the night with Glenravel claiming a well deserved victory.
