The senior footballers are still looking for that elusive win after a defeat away to Naomh Pádraig at Kirkwoods on Saturday evening in what was the final game before the league split.
We were never in the game as Naomh Pádraig established an 0-8 to 1-1 lead which included 2 nice two point scores, with Nathan Maginn kicking an excellent point and Gerard Slane converting a penalty.
We trailed 1-10 to 1-2 at the break with Gerard Slane adding a point from a 45 but in the second half we failed to make any inroads to the deficit with Naomh Pádraig scoring 0-8 to our 0-2 to gain the win on a 1-18 to 1-4 score line.
