Senior Hurling Friendly – Davitts 2-9 St Teresas 2-13

The senior hurlers took to the QUB playing fields on Sunday to take on St Teresa’s in a friendly match in preparation for the forthcoming season.  It was a competitive encounter and while the hurling was a bit rusty at times there were a lot of positives that we can take away from the game. All over the pitch everyone gave 100% effort and in terms of fitness we appeared to finish the stronger, so we need to ensure that we keep our training plan on track over the next few weeks. Our next outing is a friendly game this Sunday against Larne at 2.00pm
