Not the best Sunday for our footballing sides today, as we exited three competitions.
Belfast Saffrons U14s were narrowly defeated by Pearses, losing by 2 points at St. Malachy’s College before the Minor footballers were beaten by a strong St. John’s side at Glen Road in the Dwyer Cup semi final.
This afternoon, our senior footballers relinquished their grip on the Beringer Cup.
The team pushed Gort na Mona hard, before going down by 2 points after extra time, but there were some positives to take from the loss as preparation continues for the first All County league game on Wed 8th April.
