ACFL Div 3 – Davitts 1-7 McDermotts 0-11

The senior footballers were brought back to earth with a bump with a single point defeat at home to McDermotts tonight. By far this was our most lack lustre performance of the season. We lacked the spark that we have been showing recently and despite controlling the game for long periods and creating many scoring opportunities we were wasteful in front of goal. On the flip side of the coin McDermotts converted their chances and when we went behind we couldn’t raise our game or find a score to salvage something from the game. Scorers on the night: Ryan Rooney 1-0, Liam McGivern 0-2, Anto McGrattan 0-2, G Burns 0-2, Sean McGovern 0-1.
