Sunday 26th March sees three Davitts handballers make the long trek to Claremorris in County Mayo to contest All-Ireland Handball semi-finals. In the Intermediate grade Owen McKenna takes on Joe McCann of Mayo. Owen is confident that he can put up a good performance against an opponent who is fast about the court and likes nothing more than a long battle. Despite this Owen is in good shape and will hopefully progress to the final.In the Masters B Doubles grade Stephen Brady and Joe Murphy take on the Mayo pairing of Martin Vahey and JJ Kelly. They have no inside information on their opponents but have prepared well and likewise will be going for the win and the chance to win through to the final.Best of luck to the boys and hopefully we can have some representation in the finals.
