The senior footballers opened their account in this years Intermediate Football Championship with a well deserved win away to Naomh Comhghall at Dunsilly.
We played some nice football and the old cliche that goals win games was definitely highlighted. Naomh Comhghall battled hard and made us work right to the end. However, while the winning margin was three points, if we are realistic we were guilty of missing several glaring other goal opportunities which would have given the final scoreline a truer reflection of our performance.

Our next outing is also an away game, this time we travel to Glenavy to take take on table toppers Naomh Seosamh on 16 August at 6.30pm.
