The senior hurlers put in a gritty performance to overcome Belfast Shamrocks in the semi-final of the Junior B hurling championship at Hightown last Wednesday evening.
We dominated the game for long periods and probably should have had more scores to show for our efforts however, we came out the right side of the result with a four point winning margin.

Our opponents in the final are Glenravel who overcame O’Donnells in their semi-final tie. This will be a tough game with Glenravel going into it as strong favourites but we will be well prepared for the game and will be giving it our full effort.
The match is fixed for 31 August 2014 at Sarsfields with a 6pm throw in, so we would encourage everyone to get to the game and give the team your support.
