The minor footballers lost to St Pauls at Shaws Road  in a league encounter tonight. From the throw in St Pauls launched the ball into their full forward and he  blasted to the net. This set the trend for the remainder of the half and despite our best efforts we could not contain the St Paul’s attack and they built up a commanding half time lead 3-6 to 0-0.
In the second half we were more competitive with P McParland hitting 0-3, F Kennedy 0-2 and T Kelly 0-1 with the St Paul’s response 1-2. We battled hard all over the pitch with sterling efforts from everyone but in particular A Rowntree, T Shaw, and P McParland. Click here for photos of the game.
