We had no joy in today’s Antrim Handball Championship finals at Gortnamona. Stephen Brady fell to Stevie Roberts in two games 13-21 and 14-21. On the day Stevie played the better handball and was the deserving winner of the Over 45 Silver Masters B title.
Peter Carleton also went down in two games to Lamh Dhearg’s Brendan Herron 13-21 and 16-21. Peter put in a sterling effort but the power striking of Brendan was enough to see him through to claim the Junior B title.
