This week it was the turn of our P4 hurlers to participate in the go games at Andersonstown Leisure Centre. Our first match was against Lamh Dearg and despite being in the ascendency the game finished scoreless. Next up was St Galls who we had never played before at this level. In a tight fought game we came out the right side with a 1-0 win with the goal coming from Kayne. The last match was against Rossa and we finished of a great day with a 4-0 win with our scores coming from Liam 2, Conor 1 and Kayne 1.
The stand out player today was Odhran Cosgrove at the back who gave a master class of striking. This young team are undefeated in the P4 go games this year and all around the field these young hurlers play with hunger and tenacity which is a credit to all involved with the kids development, Micheal O’Brien, Alan Rainey, Damien Ferran, Jim Davis and Christy McNally.
