On Saturday morning we participated in the P2 & P3 Pat Rice hurling blitz hosted by Eire Og at the Falls Swim Centre. Joining Eire Og and ourselves were St Endas and St Bridgets. The P2 group was first up and we finished with a win, a draw and a loss. On the day Aidan Downey and Oisin Heaney were outstanding while Dylan McNally’s strike to win the game was great to see. Next up was the P3 group and we had 2 wins and a draw. Special mention to Eamon Toner who showed of a range of skills, while Kieran Dempsey was as committed as always putting in a lot of hard work, with Sean Smyth’s strike in the final game being the pick of the goals.
