There was mixed fortunes for our U10 hurlers in the North Antrim league play offs.
Team 1 put in some outstanding performances, winning three of their games against Dunloy, Glenariff and Eoghan Rua but lost narrowly to Cushendall, Ballycastle and Eoghan Rua. They missed out on a place in the final and the hard work of the kids and mentors is definitely paying off.
Team 2 won 4 games and with only one defeat, they have earned a place in next week’s finals. An unbelievable performance especially as some of the kids have been hurling for less than a year.
Congratulations to both the kids and mentors on getting this far. Hopefully a big contingent will be there to cheer them on. The mentors also would like to thank all the parents for their continued support.
