After several weeks of training the U16 footballers got the chance to dust off the cobwebs and play a challenge game against St Teresa’s. It was a game that Davitts were always in control. They displayed some fine team work and fast passing moves which resulted in excellent score taking. The back line looked quite solid and there was good work in the midfield from big Decky and Lee Kennedy. St Teresa’s tried very hard but were always fighting a losing battle with Davitts running out handy winners.The league is due to start on 27 April and it is important that all players ensure they get to training. Training continues next Wednesday 12 April, meet at club 6.30pm.
