The senior footballers secured their Division 3 league status with a comprehensive win over St Galls. The result was never in doubt as we controlled the match from start to finish. An early Ryan Rooney goal set us on our way and we never looked back. At half time we led 3-8 to 0-0 with further scores from Anto McGrattan 0-1, Gerard Burns 0-2, Daniel Largey 0-3, Paul Dynes 1-0, Stevie Dobbin 0-1 and Liam McGivern 1-1.
The second half followed a similar pattern as we added 2-3 to our tally while St Galls got themselves on the scoreboard with 1-2. Our second half scores came from Jay Close 1-0, Paul Dynes 0-1, Liam McGivern 0-1, Daniel Largey 0-1 and Ryan Rooney 1-0.
