The winning sequence in the league continues for the senior footballers with a win over St Brigids at Musgrave. Â Our home match a few weeks ago saw us victors by a single point but this was much easier as we romped home with an emphatic 19 point win. The game was over as a contest by half time when we led 4-7 to 0-3 with the scores coming from S McGovern 1-3, L Boyce 1-0, L McGivern 1-0, B McGovern 1-0, A McGrattan 0-1, S O’Neill 0-1, C O’Riordan 0-1 and S Dobbin 0-1.
The second half saw us add 2-3 with the goals from minor player P McAuley and R Rooney while the points were kicked by S Â O’Neill, L Boyce and G Burns and with St Brigids tagging on 0-6 we retained our third place position in the league.
