The senior footballers progressed to the semi final stages of the Beringer Cup with an emphatic victory over Rossa at Boucher Road last Thursday night. An early Gerard Burns point set us on the way and we never looked back as Rossa couldn’t match our scoring power. Scorers on the night were Gerard Burns 0-5, Kevin Hughes 1-2, Anto McGrattan 1-1, Ryan Rooney 0-3, Colm McAuley 0-3 and Niall Slane 0-1. We now play the winners of St Galls and McDermotts in the semi final on Thursday 16 June.
