A presentation and Christmas Party was held for the U6, U8 and U10 age groups and parents in the club last Saturday. The party kicked of with a disco followed by a buffet.
First of our two special guests at the event was Aodhan Gallagher of St Gall’s and Antrim. Club Chairman, Tommy Shaw, welcomed Aodhan and paid tribute to the contribution that he had made during Antrim’s successful summer campaign. He also wished St Gall’s all the best in their quest for All-Ireland club honours and thanked Aodhan for giving up his time to attend.
Aodhan then carried out the presentations, footballer of the year, most improved player of the year and top scorer for each of the age groups before presenting each of the kids with a medal for their contribution throughout the year. Aodhan also brought along the Ulster Club Championship trophy and the kids were delighted to have their photos take with it.
Our second guest was none other than the man in the big red suit with the white beard who arrived with a special delivery of selection boxes from the North Pole. Everyone received their selection box which rounded of an excellent afternoon’s entertainment.
