Our senior hurlers start their league season this Sunday, with a Div 4 game against Loch Mor Dal gCais, at Falls Park. The throw-in is 2pm. Our opponents have agreed to play the game slightly earlier as we have organised a send-off for Fr. Michael Murtagh, head Chaplain at Clonard Monastery, who is moving to pastures new.
Fr Mick has been a very close friend and associate of the Club for most of his time in the Monastery and we all want to wish him well in his new placement.
We have organised some food and a traditional music session, starting at 4pm.
