UHL – Div 4 – Coleraine Owen Roe 5-12 Davitts 0-5

Our first Ulster hurling league outing of the season saw us travel to Coleraine, last Sunday, to take on Owen Roe. We came up against a good side who made it very difficult for us and although we worked hard all over the pitch, on the day we were outplayed and out scored. However, we have to realise that we are in the early stages of our preparations and management have no doubt that we will progress in the right direction and put ourselves in a position to challenge in the Antrim league and Junior Championship. Our scores on the day came from P McGivern 0-3, M Tuohy 0-1  and G O’Neill 0-1. Our next game is against St Peter’s of  Warrenpoint at Boucher Road this Saturday with a 3.00pm throw in.
