The first game following the league split pitted us with a home game against lead leaders Muine Glás who we had lost to the previous Sunday by the minimum margin.
We never hit the same heights and the scene was set when Muine Glás kicked a goal with their first attack of the game. Aaron Slane and Marcas Toner reduced the deficit with well worked points before both teams tagged further points with Aaron Slane again on target from a free. However, a second Muine Glás goal gave them a 5 point advantage at the break 0-3 to 2-2.
The second half was a scrappy affair but Muine Glás kept the scoreboard ticking over, adding 6 points to their tally while we could only manage two points with the pick of them coming from CJ Sullivan. At the final whistle Muine Glás were well deserved winners 0-5 to 2-8.
