Following on from their win over Glenravel 2-6 to 0-11 the senior footballers were looking to finish their league campaign with a home win over Ard Eoin.
We got off to the prefect start with CJ Sullivan finishing to the back of the Ard Eoin net after a good run from Niall McParland. Ard Eoin responded with two points but an Aaron Slane pointed free, a CJ Sullivan point following a good passage of play and a point from Niall McParland put us in control. We dominated from here on adding 1-3 with the points coming from Ryan Park, CJ Sullivan and Aaron Slane with the goal from Anthony Rowntree while restricting Ard Eoin to 0-3 – half time score 2-6 to 0-5.
Ard Eoin scored the opening point of the second half but a Ryan Park goal and points from Chris Rafferty (f) and Aaron Slane more or less finished the game as a contest. We added further points from Aaron Slane and CJ Sullivan to win 3-10 to 0-11, finishing third in the league.
