The senior footballers collected two valuable league points when accounting for Creggan at Boucher Road. We led at half time 0-8 to 0-5 with our points from Gerard Burns 0-4, and 0-1 for Stevie Dobbin, Tony Kelly Paul Dynes and Anto McGrattan.
We were well in control of the game and extended our lead in the second half to 0-11 to 0-6 with two points from Colm McAuley and one from Daniel Largey. However, Creggan scored a goal and two points to level the match and we appeared to have lost all our momentum. Another  Daniel Largey point restored our  lead but Creggan responded this time with two points to take a one point advantage going into the last few minutes.   Â
We dug deep and points from Collie O’Riordan and the minor duo Caoileann Meehan and Tony Kelly were enough to see us over the wining line.
