The Senior hurlers had an emphatic win over Ardoyne at Mallusk in what was a very physical match. Playing with the wind in the first half we took some excellent scores. Anton McCaffrey top scored as he hit 4-0 and with Canice Mooney firing over two long range frees and points from Stephen McGivern and Gary Nelson we held a comprehensive lead at half time.
The second half was a tighter affair but we still held the upper hand. Ardoyne battled hard but we outscored them 1-4 to 0-5 to take the win 5-8 to 0-5.
