Juvenile Round-up – Week Commencing 11 April 2011

Under 8 and Under 10
Numbers are very encouraging this past number of weeks and as always, new players are very welcome to come along every Sunday to Grosvenor Leisure Centre at 11am. Games and training sessions will be alternated every few weeks. Club tracksuits are still available at £25 – just ask any of the mentors.

Under 12 Football
League campaign commences on Friday 15th April at Grosvenor with a game against Naomh Óg, throw-in 6.15pm.

Under 14 Football
Following a valiant effort against Rossa in the Féile semi-final, the under 14 Footballers start their league campaign on Tuesday 12th April against Gortnamona at Enright Park, throw-in 6.15pm.

Under 16 Football
The Under 16s, minus a few regulars just did enough to beat St Malachy’s in the first league game last week. This Thursday, 14th April, they travel to Sarsfields to take on the Sarsfields/St Pauls combination team, again with a 6.15pm throw-in.

Minor Football
The minor team put up a very decent effort against Gortnamona in their first league game, despite having a number of key players missing. Hopefully most will be back for the league game on Tuesday 12th April against Sarsfields, throw-in 7.15pm at Boucher Road.

All members and parents are encouraged to come along to any of the above events or games to support the young gaels of Michael Davitt GAC.
